Hearthound sells calming chews for dogs with a multi-active formula (including melatonin and hemp oil) at close to $24. It has around 860 reviews, and one jar lasts several months for small dogs. It's a brand with a track record in the category, not a recent launch, and today it competes as just another product among twenty nearly identical rivals in the same search.

Finnex diagnosis

We reviewed the title, bullets, images, A+ content and reviews. The rating, below 4 stars, pushes the brand out of the “4 stars & up” filter that many shoppers use to narrow their search, and the causes are still published. The bullets promise an almost immediate effect and a duration of several hours that the product doesn't always deliver, and they carry visible grammar errors (phrases like “this treats works great” instead of “this treat works great”). The A+ modules are mostly cross-sell carousels of the brand's own catalog, without answering a single objection. The brand keeps its sales going on the back of coupons and volume discounts, with an ever-tighter margin.
